Is the Furbo Dog Camera Worth it?
With all of these wonderful features, is the Furbo Dog Camera worth the price tag? We’ll give you our review below:
- This is a great way to check in on your dog(s) from anywhere you might be!
We got the product as a recommendation from a friend and have had lots of fun sending treats at the push of a button to both Peaches and Shadow.
Both of us will check in with Furbo from the grocery store or while away on business travel.
Remember to put it in a location where your four-legged furriend tends to be while you’re away. If they patiently wait for you at the door but you put the Furbo in the kitchen, don’t be surprised when you get a livestream of a frequently-empty room. - The Furbo app is intuitive and easy to use though we’ve found the barking alerts to be a tad overwhelming as both Peaches and Shadow can trigger them multiple times a day.
This problem was worse last year (we’ll assume they updated the app) but overall it’s super easy to use and the treat function is a lot of fun! - We used the Furbo Dog Nanny subscription upon purchase back in 2020 and one of the highlights of the day was checking out the Doggy Diary 60-second video highlight.
After viewing them for about two weeks, we noticed that it tended to do highlights mostly from the morning.
Overall, it was a fun feature for a while but once the novelty wears off, you don’t end up missing it. We wouldn’t recommend it unless you find yourself watching the Diary each day over the 90-day intro subscription.
Shadow’s Review
I loved watching myself on the Doggy Diary, but the hoomans weren’t willing to keep paying for a subscription. How rude! Usually, I avoid the Camera so the hoomans don’t know what I’m up to, but I’m a fan of treatz so I show off occasionally. 😉

Peaches’s Review
Treatz, treatz, TREATZ!!!! Seriously, I keep barking at the thing and it only gives me treatz every so often. Better to go cuddle with the hoomans and get the good stuff.
